The Family Life Ministry invites you to the Bringing Baby Home workshop by the Gottman Institute. Transitions are often stressful, no matter how joyous the moment can be. A new arrival accompanied with the lack of rest and anxieties in the transition can be a stressful affair.
This two part workshop, is a research-based and tested workshop that is dedicated to improving the quality of life for babies and children by strengthening the relationships between parents to be or parents of children under 3. This workshop aims to

• Strengthen friendship, intimacy and communication between couples after having a baby
• Reduce relationship hostility and increase affection
• Promote positive parent-baby interactions
• Promote quality involvement for parents
• Reduce the incidence or severity of perinatal mood disorders

Speaker : Mr. Lai Mun Loon
Mun Loon graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Social Work. He earned accreditations in Mediation and Psychotherapy from the Regent’s College School of Psychotherapy and Counselling Psychology (UK), in Family Mediation at the Erickson’s Mediation Institute (USA) and Pepperdine University (USA). He is an accredited Gottman Educator for ‘The Seven Principles in Making Marriage Work’ and ‘Bringing Baby Home’ programes, trained to Level II in the Gottman Method Couples’ Therapy by The Gottman Institute (USA). In addition, Mun Loon holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the SUSS (Singapore).
